Ever since our foundation, Ginza Tanaka has always taken into account necessary elements required for jewelry to be genuine. First of all, we apply extremely strict quality control standards to all of our products. Only those items passing our standards can become embossed with the quality guarantee mark that has been officially approved either by the Bureau of Ministry of Finance or Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. itself.
Secondly, Ginza Tanaka provides products at reasonable prices. We utilize two pricing methods to all of our products, i.e., either the "Sliding Pricing method" or "Fixed Pricing method". The former method is a unique method which applies the current market rates of gold and platinum to each product, so that the pricing varies according to the market. This method is applied to specific products.
To the most outstandingly designed and exquisite jewelry. By implementing our two pricing methods, we can assure our customers that they will never be disappointed.
"Sliding Pricing Method" : A Way to Acquire An Adequate Price
GINZA TANAKA applies a unique sales method called the "Sliding Pricing Method" for specific items in gold and platinum that are available in our shop. This is a unique pricing method which works in a very systematic way. The current market rates of gold or platinum will be applied to each product, based on its weight. A figure which specifies the "sales rate" is mentioned on the price tag for the applicable product. The retail price for the day will be defined by multiplying the sales rate by the current market rates of gold or platinum. This means that the retail prices for these certain products will change depending on the current market rate.
On the other hand, Ginza Tanaka also carries products with a fixed price. The price tag specifies that the product is available in "fixed price" and the printed figure will be the retail price.
Each of the pricing method provides the most adequate price for each product.
The products which applies the "Sales Rate" will be calculated as follows :
Sales Rate = Gold or Platinum Market Rate x Gold or Platinum Retail Price (excluding tax) + Consumption Tax
